Accepting the award at the Awards Ceremony in front of 1,200 business leaders,
Government, press and investors, Sara Trechman, co-Founder of Well&Truly said:
“Winning the Lloyds National Business New Entrepreneur of the Year Award is a huge
achievement for us. It’s really exciting that the initial success and future potential
of Well&Truly is being recognised in this way.”
The judges of the award commented:
"Well&Truly produce great tasting snacks using natural ingredients that are much
better for you than traditional ones, lower fat, gluten free and above all taste
delicious. From a stand still they are already in Whole Foods, Ocado, Booths and 1000
Tesco stores, they particularly impressed the panel with how well their concept had
been thought through and then executed. Their relentless drive for innovation has
culminated in an outstanding product and a deserving winner."
Maria Trechman, co-Founder of Well&Truly said: “With Well&Truly we are building a
fantastic business around the promise of snacks full of flavour that are also that bit ‘better’ but never compromising on the great taste every snacker deserves. We have
big ambitions for the future, and the award is a great validation of our concept,
execution of the business plan to date and future potential of Well&Truly”.
