Registration is now open for the annual arts extravaganza, Wandsworth Arts Fringe. Be part of the eclectic programme that shakes up South West London with arts and culture that thrills, moves and inspires audiences from across the city.

Part of Wandsworth Council’s arts and culture programme, Wandsworth Arts Fringe (WAF) brings together over 100 creatives in a borough-wide arts festival every May. The festival takes place in an array of nooks and crannies throughout the borough- some indoor, some outdoor, and some truly unexpected – revealing a Wandsworth you never knew existed.

The festival showcases some of the most exciting work being made by local and national artists, performers and creative producers. It is emphatically inclusive and welcomes participation from artists across all art forms- from street performances, exhibitions, comedy, music, dance and everything in between. This is your opportunity to try something new, take creative risks, test new ideas and reach new audiences.

WAF also offers development support such as professional and peer advice, networking events and marketing toolkits to actively support its participants to realise their ideas to excellent standards.

One of last year’s participants said the effect of their involvement with WAF was:
“ Greater understanding of my work, excellent chance to collaborate with other artists, a new audience venue and fringe to work with in future years”

Early registration is encouraged to increase the chance of being featured in the WAF PR campaigns and receive press attention. To take part simply register and pay the £35 fee by Monday 30 January 2017. This will secure your listing space in the festival brochure and website. You will then have a further two weeks to complete and edit your event details for inclusion in the Fringe’s printed publicity material.
