Wandsworth Citizens Advice Bureau is improving access to telephone advice due to high demand
The CAB will be increasing telephone advice opening hours; trying out a new all-day service on Thursdays (10am – 4pm), in addition to being open on Monday 2pm - 4pm and Tuesday (10am - 12pm). The telephone advice line number is 020 7042 0333.
Head of Service Mary-Ann Foxwell explained:
“Local people consistently tell us they want to access our help more easily by telephone. Demand for our service is very high. We helped over 8000 people find a way forward last year, handling 14,000 enquiries. We hope even more people will now be able to reach us.
Our service is largely delivered by trained volunteers and we are constantly on the look-out for new people to join us – particularly to provide the telephone service. If you’re interested in gaining new skills and experience and helping local people, please get in touch.”
