Major Track Replacement Taking Place on Mildmay Line
Closures to continue through Christmas into the New Year

Saturday 20 and Sunday 21 December

Engineering work is taking place between Shepherds Bush and Watford Junction, closing various lines.

From approximately 20:00 on Saturday evening until the end of service, from the start of service until 12:00 on Sunday and from approximately 21:00 on Sunday evening until the end of service, no Southern trains will run between Shepherds Bush and Watford Junction.

Christmas Eve, 24 December, and from Boxing Day, 26 December until Friday 2 January.

No service between Earls Court and Kensington Olympia.

Christmas Day - 25 December

No service on London Underground, London Underground or mainline train services

Boxing Day - Friday 26 December

No service on the entire line

Boxing Day, Friday 26 December

No service between Richmond / Shepherd's Bush and Stratford.

Replacement buses operate between Shepherds Bush and Camden Road, and between Camden Road and Stratford. There will be no replacement buses between Gunnersbury and Willesden Junction.

Saturday 27 December 2025 until Sunday 4 January 2026

No service between Camden Road and Richmond / Shepherd's Bush (via West Hampstead). Trains will operate between Stratford and Camden Road with some services continuing to/from Willesden Junction (Low Level) via South Hampstead, Kilburn High Road, Queens Park and Kensal Green.

Replacement buses operate:Service R: Camden Town (for Northern line) - Camden Road - Kentish Town West - Gospel Oak (Agincourt Road / Southampton Road) - Hampstead Heath - Finchley Road Underground Station (for Finchley Road & Frognal) - West Hampstead - Brondesbury - Queens Park (for local buses to/from Brondesbury Park) - Kensal Rise - Willesden Junction - Acton Central (The Vale) - South Acton (Acton Lane) - Gunnersbury

There will be line closures between London Waterloo and Clapham Junction from

Queenstown Road station will be also be closed for the whole of this period. Please use other nearby stations.

London Waterloo to Portsmouth via Guildford services will start from Clapham Junction, Guildford or Woking.
London Waterloo to Chessington South services will run hourly. These services will start from Wimbledon.
London Waterloo to Dorking services will not run. Passengers should use Southern services from
Clapham Junction or Epsom to Dorking.
London Waterloo to Guildford via Epsom services will start from Clapham Junction.
London Waterloo to Shepperton services will start from Clapham Junction or Wimbledon.
London Waterloo to Guildford via Cobham services will run hourly. These services will start from

London Waterloo to Weymouth services will be revised and will start from Clapham Junction.
The morning and early afternoon London Waterloo to Poole/Portsmouth via Eastleigh services will be revised to run all day and will call additionally at Farnborough, Micheldever and Shawford. These services will start from Clapham Junction and will not divide at Eastleigh.
The afternoon and evening London Waterloo to Portsmouth via Eastleigh services will not run.
A revised service will run between Eastleigh and Portsmouth Harbour all day.
London Waterloo to Portsmouth via Guildford services will start from Clapham Junction or Woking.
London Waterloo to Exeter services will start from Basingstoke.
London Waterloo to Basingstoke and Alton services will run hourly. These services will start from
Clapham Junction.
London Waterloo to Chessington South services will start from Wimbledon.

London Waterloo to Basingstoke stopping services and London Waterloo to Alton services will run combined to Woking where the train will divide. These services will call additionally at Clapham Junction, Wimbledon and West Byfleet. These services will run hourly.
London Waterloo to Chessington South services will run hourly. These services will start from Wimbledon.
London Waterloo to Dorking services will not run. Passengers should use Southern services from
Clapham Junction or Epsom to Dorking.
