Funday Aims To Raise The Roof

The 1st East Putney scouts are holding a Christmas funday on Sunday December 6 to raise money for their Raise the Roof Appeal.

The group needs to raise £100,000 to repair the roof of the Oxford Road scout hut, and launched an appeal in 2008. Founded in 1908, 1st East Putney Scout group is one of the oldest Scout Groups in the world.

Local Estate Agent SW15 Estate Agents is supporting the group with their  'RAISE THE ROOF APPEAL' to raise £100,000 to replace the 70-year old leaky asbestos roof.

The Christmas funday is the main fundraiser of the year and will feature games, cakes, refreshments, a raffle, a door prize and a tombola.
