The equipment was donated by the Putney Rotary Club and was funded through donations from the local community.

The Rotary Club were represented by President Barry Rowe at the event and he was joined by Wandsworth Mayor (and fellow Rotarian), Cllr Leslie McDonnell and Salvation Army Lieutenant Katy Shubotham. A number of Rotarians joined in to try out the new equipment.

Katy Shubotham remarked : “We have already seen a difference in people, people are calmer, happier, more confident in themselves. Exercise makes a big difference to people and thanks to Rotary support we are truly able to work with people to help them have healthy minds, healthy bodies and healthy souls.”
