Residents will need to find alternative for five weeks
Townmead Road Re-use and Recycling Centre in Mortlake will close for five weeks from March 5th until 14 April 2014 to undergo essential works.
This includes the relocation of the weighbridge office to a better location to ease public access, a new concrete plinth to provide a safe segregated walkway for the public, the provision of containers in the centre of the site for residents to place their waste and improved CCTV and lighting.
People can dispose of residential waste in centres belonging to neighbouring boroughs. To enter these sites, bring along proof of residency. The following forms of ID are accepted:
Driving licence
        Council Tax bill
        Utility bill
        Residents parking sticker
      Bank/credit card statement
