Our History
Thomas Pocklington Trust is a leading provider of housing, care and support for people with sight loss in the UK. The charity was created from a legacy left in 1935 by Thomas Pocklington who had experienced temporary blindness when young.

Pocklington Court -- Roehampton
Pocklington Court is a supported housing centre for people of all ages with sight loss. Located in Roehampton in South West London, the Centre offers self-contained accommodation in a range of studio and one-bedroom flats, with the support of a team of trained staff offering support in relation to regaining and developing independence.
Accommodation at Pocklington Court is provided in 52 single-person studio flats, and 12 two-person flats. Each flat is fully self-contained and specifically designed for people with sight loss. Additional communal facilities include a lounge, guest suite, and laundry, with a reception service and shop facility provided on site. We also provide on-site maintenance support so that we can respond quickly to breakages and other problems. Large, accessible landscaped gardens with a summer house provide a safe outdoor environment and walking area, and a dog pen is provided for the use of guide dogs.
