Panorama Antennas hosted PM for announcement of UK's latest GDP figures
On Thursday 25th October, the UK Prime Minister David Cameron and local MP Jane Ellison visited Panorama Antennas in Wandsworth, London to announce the UK’s Q3 2012 GDP growth figures and illustrate that manufacturers such as Panorama are a driving force behind the UK’s economic recovery.
To begin, David Cameron sat down with the Panorama Directors to discuss the business needs of a successful UK manufacturer, before being given a tour of the R&D facilities and main factory to see the various antennas being manufactured for export worldwide.
David Cameron welcomed the GDP growth figures saying:
“We are on the right track, we’ve got the right approach, these figures are positive”.
Andrew Jesman of Panorama Antennas said:
“We are an example of the many competitive manufacturers in the UK. With over 75% exports, Panorama proves that it is possible to thrive in an international market and tough economic conditions by producing innovative and high quality products critical to the communication systems of governments, public safety organisations and businesses.”
Recently Panorama Antennas also made the news earlier this month when it was mentioned as an example of a successful British exporter by Mayor of London, Boris Johnson in his speech at the Conservative Party conference.
