Justine Greening encourages residents to join her in pink on Friday
Justine Greening MP for Putney, Roehampton and Southfields has joined up with Breast Cancer Campaign for the Wear it Pink event on Friday 31 October. The campaign is aiming for people across the country to put on their most daring pink clothes, whether that’s pink glasses, jumpers or ties, to represent the importance of breast cancer research and promote awareness.
Justine Greening said: “Every year over 45,500 women in the UK are diagnosed with breast cancer and I support the excellent work Breast Cancer Campaign is doing to promote research into the disease. I’d like to encourage all my fellow Putney, Roehampton and Southfields residents to join me on the day by wearing pink and supporting breast cancer awareness in any way possible”.
To help Breast Cancer Campaign reach its target of £3.5million this year, you can find out more about taking part by calling freephone 0800 107 3104 or visit www.wearitpink.co.uk, where you can find details
