Police recommend smart phone owners download similar app

If you have an Apple iPhone or iPad, you may be interested to hear that Wandsworth police had a report yesterday of the theft of an iPhone in Summerstown, SW17.

As the owner had installed the free app FindMyiPhone, they were able to quickly track the phone, retrieve it and arrest a suspect in Ram Street, SW18.

Similar applications are also available for Adroid phones, so it may well be worth your while taking a few minutes to install one of these apps on your smartphone which will help to recover it if it is stolen
