Putney man receives sentence of 20 weeks

On 9 July 2012 at approximately 6:45pm, police were called to Bendon Valley, SW18 where 33 year old Paul Young was arrested for theft from motor vehicle having been detained by two members of public.

He had smashed the window of a motor vehicle and then climbed in through the window to get to the property inside.
He was stopped by the owner of the vehicle and a work colleague, who called police.

He was charged with theft from motor vehicle. On 15th August 2012, Paul Michael Young aged 33 of Arabella Drive SW15 pleaded guilty to the offence at South Western Magistrates Court where he received a sentence of 20 weeks.
