E-fit image released following attempted rape in Roehampton
Police are releasing an e-fit of a man they want to question in connection with an attempted rape of a woman in Roehampton.
Detectives from the Sexual Offences Exploitation and Child Abuse Command are appealing for any witnesses following the incident last month.
On Wednesday, 17 June, police were called to an address in Roehampton, SW15. The victim - a 21-year-old woman - was at her home when two men entered her flat through an open balcony door.
The woman was then forced to perform a sex act on one of the suspects but she managed to fight him off.
Detective Constable Alison Downing, from the Sexual Offences Exploitation and Child Abuse Command who leading the investigation, said:
"We are appealing for any witnesses who saw two males, one white and one black acting suspiciously in the the Roehampton and Puntney Heath ward on Wednesday 17 June between 11:00hrs and 17:00hrs.
"If anyone knows the identity suspects or who has any information then please contact police."
Suspect [A] is a black man, about 6ft 4ins tall, aged between 28 and 30 years-old He had very short hair and was clean-shaven.
He was wearing sky-blue coloured jeans with a black belt and a black jacket. He spoke with an English accent. He has a tattoo of a Chinese symbol on his right hip.
Suspect [B] is a white man with blonde hair.
