CIPs Head leaves to pursue an alternative career
Chief
Executive, John Rice, has decided quit his role to pursue
his professional career in another direction
The
departure comes after his careful consideration of personal
objectives balanced against the corporate direction of the
CIP Group of companies.
Jason Setford-Smith, Head of Corporate Development &
Communications of CIP said Whilst disappointed, the Board
of Trustees respect John's decision and would like to formally
thank him for his various achievements with CIP and recognise
his contribution to the establishment and ongoing growth and
development of the Group.
CIP
was set up by Hounslow Council as a partner to be responsible
for a range of activities in the borough including leisure
services and parks maintenance.
The
news come just one week after CIP dismissed claims reportedly
made by a local union that there would be further redundancies
after Hounslow Homes failed to renew their contract and awarding
it to a private firm. The firm has recently attracted criticism
for its maintenance of local cemetaries.
