Highest pass rates school has seen since becoming an academy in 2012

Ark Putney Academy has cause for celebration this summer. Alongside their newly completed £30 million renovated building and state of the art sports facilities, the school is also boasting record highs in their GCSE results, which came out today.

Students achieved 69% 5 A*-C including English and Maths which is an increase of 11% on last year with 91% A*-C in English and 72% in Maths. These are the highest set of results the school has seen since becoming an academy in 2012.

Other highlights for the school include:
91% A*-C in Art
94% A*-C in Geography
100% A*-C in Further Maths including an A* with Distinction

Principal Alison Downey commented on the outcome,“This is the best ever set of GCSE results for the academy and is a testament to the hard work of students and staff. Well done to all, we are extremely proud.”
