Rebecca Mascarenhas raises the Phoenix from the ashes to create Cantinetta
Former Phoenix owner Rebecca Mascarenhas continues to buck the restaurant trend by announcing the opening of a new venture in Putney.
A new Italian wine bar and restaurant will open in early November.
Co-owned by Rebecca Mascarenhas (Kitchen W8, and Sonny’s) and chef Federico Turri (previously with Giorgio Locatelli for eight years, as well as Nobu, Nahm and training with Dan Lepard), the food will be a mix of classic and modern regional Italian with a concise all-Italian wine list.
