Brentford made it twelve points from twelve on Saturday by beating Oldham at Griffin Park

Uwe Rosler brought Marcus Bean and Clinton Morrison into his starting eleven and was rewarded in the 68th second when the former converted a Clayton Donaldson long throw.

Brentford - who played some lovely football at times - had other first half chances with Donaldson and Sam Saunders both rattling the woodwork. Morrison also saw a very good appeal for a penalty turned down.

Oldham were very much a Paul Dickov side - a well drilled and snarling machine and came out after the interval the better side - Richard Lee making one fantastic save from close range.

Brentford sealed the win, however, through substitute Niall McGinn in the 67th minute as he latched onto a ball into the box to drill home.

Oldham did push again for a goal - Shaleum Logan clearing off his own line - but the Harleigh/Karleigh central partnership held firm.

Brentford are now in 9th position on 59 points - five adrift of 6th place Carlisle who have a game in hand.

Bees - Lee, Logan, Bidwell, Dean, Osborne, Saunders (Forrester), Bean (Thompson), Douglas, Dave, Donaldson, Morrison (McGinn)

        Unused Bees - Moore, Legge
