Brentford snatched victory at the death with a Leon Legge headed goal from a marvellous Weston cross in the 89th minute.

Brentford played some decent football in the first half and Charlton required a good save from their keeper Worner to deny Grabban early on. The bees continued passing the ball well with Saunders probing but Charlton managed two shots on goal that required good saves from Lee.

After the break, Charlton applied some pressure and the bees defence looked flaky from an extended period of corners and free kicks. Llera hit the bar from a McCormack free kick but Brentford steadied the ship and started to get back into the game.

Reed's cross hanging just under the bar was tipped over by Worner and from the resulting corner Legge powered the ball home at the far post.

Charlton seemed to lack confidence and although it wasn't a great second half display the bees took the three points, possibly two more than they deserved, but who cares!
