Brentford lost 2-1 at Oldham today after Andy Scott named a bizarre starting formation.
Scotty shipped out centre half David McCracken this week and brought in midfielder Owain Tudor Jones. He started today's game with Owain at centre half but Pim Balkestein and Chris Bush on the bench
Marc Laird was at last played in a central position but Kev was picked on the right ahead of Robbie Simpson whilst Stephen Wright replaced the in form Michael Spillane at right back. Baffling. Diagouraga also came into the XI with Marcus Bean presumably injured as he wasn't among the six substitutes in our threadbare squad.
Tounkara and Morais scored for Oldham whilst sub Simmo scored s consolation game with seven minutes remaining
Beesotted's man on the scene described our performance as 'poop'. We end the day in 16th position, 7 points off the playoffs but just 5 points above the bottom four. Not good enough.
Bees - Lee, Wright, Legge, Tudur Jones, Woodman, Kev, Dave (Mac), Laird, Weston, Forster, Alexander (Simmo)
Unused Bees - Royce, Bush, Spillane, Pim
