New Membership Choices, Golf Academies and a Reader Offer
It’s never been easier to get into golf at Ealing Golf Club. The club has extended its membership options for 2014 to help better meet the needs of those who would like join a club and play on a high quality course but who can’t necessarily play enough to justify the cost of full membership.
The changes target younger adults and others with limited opportunities to play due to pressures of work and family, with:
Lifestyle membership offers 7-day access and many of the benefits of membership (such as a handicap, eligibility for most competitions and swipe card discount for food and drink), but for a limited number of rounds based on an annual number of playing credits (the number of rounds this buys depending on when you choose to play).
General Manager Dave Jones outlines the club’s thinking: “Our existing Full and 5-Day categories offer unlimited golf and good value to those who can play regularly. But there are lots of people who play golf who can’t currently justify a membership for the amount of golf they can play right now, and others who would like to start playing. So we are doing all we can to make membership more affordable for younger adults and more occasional golfers, for instance those with young families and a lot of pressure on time due to work. Our Junior rates have always been kept low, but we’ve reduced those too.”
READER OFFER: Mention this article on joining to receive 10% of your first year’s fee on your club swipe card to spend on discounted food and drink (offer valid until 31.5.14, subject to availability – cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer)
Ealing is a modern member’s club that welcomes visitors and new members. The course’s general condition and presentation receives constant compliments, with Golf Monthly magazine recently rating its greens as ‘some of the finest and fastest around’.
If you are not familiar with the club, why not pop in and have a look and arrange to play a round?
