Hair salon has an ‘extension' to its opening hours to meet demand

Since opening on Chiswick High Road two years ago by father and son Gaby and Sureno Saliba, it has experienced a surge in demand from a growing number of loyal customers and new clients. As a result, the salon has extended its opening hours to 8pm on weekdays. It also opens on Sundays.

As well as being a hair studio and barbershop, Cavalleros offers custom tattoos. Sureno is a renowned artist in this field.

This is Gaby's third hairdressing stint on Chiswick High Road and the only one where he started from scratch with no clientele.

He explains: “With my first salon I inherited the clients from the previous owner. Then, when I started my second business, the clients came with me. But I opened Cavalleros after ten years away from the area and at first there were days when I had just one customer.”

Gaby is the first to admit that starting a new business is far from easy. But his gamble has paid off.

“I've had great support from the local community and built up a regular and loyal following,” he adds.

In addition to the extended hours, there's a new addition to the team.
