One of Young’s founding pubs, The Spotted Horse is galloping back to Putney high street with a brand new botanical look following an extensive refurbishment. The historic pub, which locals have affectionately named ‘SpoHo’, celebrates just some of the best things in life; expertly crafted cocktails,
lazy brunches, indulgent sharing dishes and a rooftop gin bar; this is the new hidden gem in SW15.

Boasting its old façade, the traditional pub has been given a new lease of life with a vibrant botanical feel running throughout to create a chic oasis away from hustle and bustle. Exposed brickwork is perfectly complemented by floating shrubbery baskets and botanical soft furnishings in opulent velvets and a verdant colour scheme from moss green to pine and sage tones. Upholstered stools at the bar and at high apothecary-style tables are perfect for casual bites and casual drinks. New skylights with feature globe modern chandeliers flood the venue with light, so whether relaxing on one of the inviting sofas, dining in the restaurant or sinking into an armchair by the fire, there is sure to be a perfect spot for everyone.

Completely new to The Spotted Horse is a rooftop bar; The Juniper Terrace. Decked with retro, tropical prints, and leafy wall-art complete with wooden booths and an outside bar, this terrace is a perfect destination no matter what the weather courtesy of its glass roof. Juniper is the name and G&Ts are definitely its game. The bar offers an array of perfect serves from Little Bird with Fever Tree Mediterranean tonic garnished with a slice of grapefruit, to Hendricks’s and elderflower tonic with a slice of cucumber as well as a stunning Perrier-Jouët champagne menu. Whatever the weather, The Juniper Terrace delivers a slice of summer.

The Spotted Horse is open seven days a week from brunch through to dinner, serving up the highest quality, British seasonal dishes. Start the day off right with brunch dishes such as Wickes Manor smoked bacon and heritage egg crumpet, or an open avocado sandwich on toasted sourdough.

Young’s award-winning cask ales take pride of place on the bar, alongside Fourpure Flatiron American Red, Founders IPA, Camden Pale on draught, supported by a rotating selection from local heroes including Belleville and Sambrook’s. In addition, a special ‘SpoHo’ menu of classic twisted cocktails has been crafted, including the Miss Ginger’s Negroni, the well-loved Campari mix using Little Bird gin, or the Kentucky Old Fashioned, made with Bulleit Bourbon. There is also an extensive list of wines from ripe and rounded whites and soft and fruity reds to pale and delicate rosés available by the glass and bottle, as well as a selection of Champagne and sparkling wines.

Perfect for dinner, brunch or just a relaxed drink, The Spotted Horse is back in it's Putney stable.
