Learn the secrets of Public speaking in four extraordinary workshops
We often admire those talented speakers who deliver a message so easily and get the crowd to listen. Did you know that talent actually has very little to do with it? According to Helen Rennie-Smith public speaking is a craft that you can learn and improve as long as you have the right tools.
For years Helen has coached politicians and business people in professional speaking and media relations. She has also given courses for individuals who needed to prepare for a special occasion. Usually it’s for an important presentation at work or maybe to make sure that wedding speech is out of the ordinary. But there have also been a few more unusual cases over the years.
“I remember a father who prepared for a custody case and won it in the end,” says Helen pictured below. “I was very touched by that.”
Another example was a lady applying for a job after several years at home. She took the course to build confidence for the interviews, which can be very daunting.
In late May a course of four workshops starts in Putney Library and you’ll have a chance to learn the secrets of public speaking. Read more about the course & book your space here.
