Leading lady will be sharing her knowledge with Little Voices Putney
Little Voices Putney school of Performing Arts has announced that West End star Kerry Ellis will be coming to Putney on Sunday, 1st February to deliver a singing masterclass.
Kerry is regarded as the leading lady of the West End, following her lead roles in shows such as Wicked, We Will Rock You, Oliver, My Fair Lady and Les Miserables – as well as achieving chart topping success with her projects with Brian May.
Recently she has appeared in the Les Miserables feature film and toured the UK to promote her new album, plus a return stint in the hit show ‘Wicked'.
The event in Putney is a rare opportunity for local budding young performers and singers, who have a passion for musical theatre and who would like for the opportunity to be part of and work with Kerry at this ‘one off’ masterclass learning things they wouldn’t anywhere else and to take part in a Q&A session with Kerry at the end of the workshop.
Ashlea Pearson, the Principle of Little Voices, told us:
“We are thrilled that we managed to secure a west end star like Kerry to host the event and to have her working with us at Little Voices to educate the children of Putney - it’s amazing! We cannot wait for the event and to watch Kerry put her stamp on the masterclass.”
The Masterclass, which is open to children aged 6 - 18 years, is being held on Sunday 1st February at St. Mary’s Church in Putney, South West London. To secure your child’s place please apply or enquire online before 26th January as places are strictly limited.
