Pure Indian Cooking - Try It!

"A different league from the average takeaway"

Pure is a new Indian takeaway delivering Indian cuisine to the home to create what it says is ‘a memorable home dining experience’; so forget your preconceptions about Indian takeaways – too many, poor quality, not as good as places where you can eat in, all the same, only for after the pub – and go and try it out. It’s an exception to the takeaway rules.

Why? Because it’s in a different league from the average takeaway. It owes its quality to recipes from India, fresh made food, in a traditional style. Flavoursome and memorable. The manager, Vibhav Haldankar and head chef, Shilpa Dandekar run Pure Indian and developed the operation after experience at Quilon in central London, part of Taj Hotels, a Michelin starred south Indian style restaurant, and at Brasserie Blanc, amongst other places.

We ordered a selection of the chef’s favourites and made a note of the family’s reaction. A good example was the Mango Curry at £4.10 as a side dish and £6.75 as a main course: we noted ‘a lovely fragrant mild flavour with fresh firm mango pieces’. Typically you get what it says on the menu: sizeable pieces of real ingredients that taste like they should taste.

The Early Bird deal gets you 10% off between 4 and 7pm on orders of £15 plus.
