Enjoyed an impromptu post dog walk supper
We went for an impromptu supper at Hudson 's last Friday evening. After taking our black lab for a walk along the towpath we stopped off at the Bricklayers for a relaxing evening drink. It was a beautiful warm evening and as we walked home we stopped off at Hudson 's for supper.
We were welcomed with open arms all three of us. We parked the dog under our outside table so that she did not disturb any of the other diners. We were immediately served and a bottle of the house red was on our table within minutes. The wine was great and reasonable at £12.95 per bottle. We ordered two sirloin steaks with chips £15.95 each, which were delicious.
Our waiter was incredibly friendly, and made us feel very welcome. The pudding list was extensive but we declined the temptation and made our way home in a very happy state without a big hole in our pocket. The meal came to £44.85p plus tip.
