Rosslyn Park raise their game considerably to comprehensively beat Blaydon
Dom Morris leads a Park attack
Park took the lead through a Harry Leonard penalty on 11 minutes, but Blaydon hit back straight away with a try from winger Fraser Wilson, the dependable Andrew Bagget adding a conversion for a 3-7 lead to the visitors.
The home side generally had Blaydon under pressure, allowing Leonard to snatch back the lead with two further penalties for 9-7. It was not until the 32nd minute that Park breached the try line with an excellent effort from full-back Andrew Henderson, converted by Leonard for 16-7.
Richard Boyle rules on high
After that Park took almost complete control. Winger Mark Kohler scored either side of the interval, both converted for 30-7 just before the hour mark.
Hooker Tom Vaughan-Edwards grabbed the all-important bonus point try on 62 minute.
Park then entertained the crowd with some lovely running rugby, bringing further tries from prop Ali Wade and centre Dom Morris. Leonard kept up his 100% conversion rate to take his personal tally to 21 points.
Blaydon grabbed a consolation try on the stroke of time through winger Tom Grimes for a final score of 51-12.

Rosslyn Park Forwards Coach, Kieran Power, said
“We asked the boys for a reaction from last week's disappointing result in Hull. Although the first twenty minutes was a tight game, we felt that the boys performance overall was definitely a million times better than the previous week and pleasing to see.
“Hopefully now with one game to go before the Christmas break we can go to Cambridge with some confidence and produce a similar performance to finish the year”.
