As GAIL's Bakery opens the 38th outlet in London
Turning on to Lacy Road you are spoiled for choice following the opening of GAIL's bakery last week. The road now hosts three cafes, in addition to Gail's there is Giuliano's offering Italian coffee and food, Blåbär - Nordic Living, offering Nordic coffee, food and home furnishing and gifts.
The first GAIL’s bakery opened in London’s Hampstead High Street in 2005. With the opening of the Putney store they now have 38 bakeries in neighbourhoods in and around London. GAIL’s bake over 30 types of bread every day at 4am which is then delivered to the Putney site, including classics such as GAIL’s French Dark Sourdough, Baguettes, rye loaves and fruit breads. Breakfast is also served until 3pm every day and fresh pastries, sandwiches, salads and cakes are available to enjoy in the bakery or for takeaway.
