Free seminar on sources of business finance and improving retails sales
Businesses in Putney town centre can benefit from a free seminar on sources of business finance and improving retails sales. The event takes place at 5.45 pm, Tuesday 29 September at St Mary's Church, Putney High Street.
The first session will be hosted by business advisor Colm McMenamin who will provide the latest information on how to secure business finance - a key challenge facing many small traders since the onset of the credit crunch. The second part of the evening will be an interactive group session on up-selling and cross-selling products and services, led by local business people. The event has been organised by the Putney Town Centre Partnership (PTCP) and Wandsworth Council. For more information or to book a place please contact Stephan Wallace, Putney Town Centre Manager: sdwallace@wandsworth.gov.uk or (020) 8785 0374.
Wandsworth's regeneration spokesman James Cousins said the event is part of a wider council strategy to support local firms during the recession.
“We are providing free business coaching sessions all over the borough to ensure our traders have easy access to recession beating advice and are encouraging residents to do their bit by using local shops and services.”
