School still wants to expand number of places
The owners of Prospect House School have appealed the decision by Wandsworth planning authorities to maintain the limit on the number of pupils at the school.
The school have made two applications, one to increase the size of the school to 280 and one to increase it to 300 both of which have been rejected. A condition for the change of use given when the school was set up 20 years ago was the school's admission should be limited to 200.
The school's owner, Alex Rentoul, has appealed to the Secretary of State for Councils and Local Government.
The appeal will be considered by the Planning Inspectorate in Bristol. Any representations made at the time of the original application will be passed on to the inspector. If anyone wishes to add to or amend representations they made they should send three copies of a letter quoting reference APP/H5960/A/11/2153936 and APP/H5960/A/11/2154025/NWF by 20th July to:
