Kitten Missing From Bective Rd Area

A 5 month nervous tortoise shell kitten has gone astray

Has anyone seen a dark tortoise shell female kitten about 5 months old in the Bective Road area of Putney since Saturday 22nd December?

She is very nervous and, and acording to the staff at Roehampton Vetinary Clinic, was not heard to meow in the week or so that she was with them.

She was collected from the vet's on Saturday morning and have not seen her since about 2100 hours. The owner has been searching the house ever since for any sign of her but without any success. There is a slight possibility that she could have got into the old coal cellar under the stairs and if so, she could have escaped under the floorboards. They have had a floorboard up since Sunday with food and water for her and a light constantly on but there has been no sign of her. They have put a note and photo into the 8 houses in our terrace.

Their hope is that she has escaped into the street and has been taken in and being looked after by someone.
