An appeal from a very gutted Scottish fly fisherman
Whilst visiting his girlfriend at the weekend Micheal Low's car was broken into on saturday night on the road the Embankment opposite Leader Gardens park.
The really unfortunate thing about the break in is that they have stolen a bag in which it's contents really are irreplaceable. The bag, green and yellow looks similar to a small weekend bag or camera bag and contains Michael's entire collection of fishing flies, reels etc.
Michael has had these reels and boxes of flies since a child and whilst some if the items are "replaceable" others are not and hold very fond memories of of his childhood in Scotland and some of these boxes reels were given to him as gifts.
He has contacted the police and they have issued crime referee numbers etc but as of yet heard nothing and they have informed him that they have closed the case down as there were no witnesses or any CCTV on site.
His plea to all readers of PutneySW15.com is if you could keep an eye out for the bag whichhe suspects has been dumped when the realise there was no laptop or camera inside.
Michael is offering a reward of £400 should he be reunited with the bags contents - if you saw anything or have found the bag & contents please email editor@putneysw15.com.
