Change of roles in cabinet reshuffle has resulted in diary clash for Justine Greening
The meeting to discuss the alternatives and planning application for the controversial Putney Hospital site, (scheduled for October 15th at All Saints Church) was unexpectedly postponed yesterday, when the Chair, Justine Greening MP confirmed that she could no longer attend, “due to an unavoidable Ministerial commitment which has arisen following Justine’s move in the reshuffle to Secretary of State for International Development”.
A spokesperson for FFoPC said:
"
FoPC’s concerns regarding the unlawful planning application are unaffected, and applications for judicial reviews of the unlawful application and sale of common land will be submitted before the end of the year.
While the outcome of the judicial process is likely to take several months longer, it is hoped that the postponed meeting will take place in January 2013. The meeting will allow residents to review the various alternatives for the Putney Hospital site and to quiz Thamesfield Councillors and Wandsworth officials on what FoPC believe is an ill considered and over intensive scheme. Confirmation of the new date will be made shortly, it is expected the venue will be unchanged."
