Cards For Good Causes Charity Christmas Card Shop Pops Up

Friday 31st October until Wednesday 17th December

Cards for Good Causes, the UK’s largest multi-charity Christmas card organisation, opens its latest pop-up shop on Friday 31st October under the Tower of St Mary’s Church in Putney.

Staffed by volunteers, it sells Christmas cards for more than 25 national and local charities including Royal Hospital for Neurodisability, Trinity Hospice and Shooting Star Chase.

Shop Manager Angela Holman said: “Not only are Christmas cards an important source of funding for charities, they also help to raise awareness of their work. By popping into the Putney shop, you can choose from a fantastic array of charity cards and stock up on all your Christmas essentials, such as wrapping paper and gift tags.”

“You’ll find us by following our distinctive triangular red Santa sign on the railings of the church in Putney High Street”.

In the past five years, charities have received more than £20 million from Cards for Good Causes – representing at least 70p in every pound out of which charities had to pay for the production and distribution of their Christmas cards and any VAT.

The Putney pop-up shop is part of the Cards for Good Causes’ national network. It is open daily Monday to Saturday from 10am to 4.30pm, opening on Friday 31st October until Wednesday 17th December.
