The colourful World Village market returns to Putney this Easter weekend promising a fabulous range of quality gift ideas and mouth-watering goodies from across the globe.
The event will feature exotic world cooking, homemade, healthy and traceable foods together with original arts, crafts, clothing, jewellery, accessories and original ideas.
From hot French crepes, rich cheeses and Columbian gourmet coffees to German BBQ and plump Greek Olives, this unique festival-style street market promises an eclectic range of foods for visitors to enjoy.
The event, which coincides with the 159th Boat Race between crews from the Universities of Oxford and Cambridge , will take place in Church Square on Saturday 30th and Sunday 31st March and will also feature ethically traded, handmade, eco–friendly arts, crafts, clothing, accessories and ideas from across the globe including Turkish scarves and trinkets, Indian dresses, jackets and shawls and sequined flip-flops and bags from Bali.
Visitors will be entertained with live music from classical violinist, Andrew Hubbard (Sunday only)
