There is £5 admission fee that allows participation in any of the games represented on the day. Tristan created The Great Game community project as a part of a Leadership programme for Landmark Education. Landmark is an international training and development company, who are known for offering their flagship course The Landmark Forum (www.landmarkworldwide.com).

Tristan said: “One of the most devastating consequences of war is the legacy that it leaves for the next generation. The damage done is not only that which happens in the present, but the damage that is created in the future. When a child’s family is destroyed, their future is more often than not destroyed along with it. In addition to fundraising for an important cause The Great Game was inspired by my own passion for the hobby and my attempt to contribute something new to adults and children within the local community.

Tristan
continued: I would like to see friends, families and communities brought closer through board games. Board games can bring different generations together in a fun social context where a multitude of different skills can be developed and employed!”

The event is organised by a group of volunteers with the kind support of St. Mary’s Church, Putney.
