VSO Challenges You To Get Fit & Raise Money


with two physically demanding events this year

Challenge yourself (and your friends or colleagues) for international development charity, VSO, based in Putney - get fit and help raise some vitally needed funds.  There are some exciting events for teams to get involved with, including:

VSO's 3 Peaks Challenge - 1 & 2 August 2009
This is the ultimate outdoor challenge to climb the three highest peaks in Scotland, England and Wales in under 24 hours. You will need mental stamina, physical strength and above all team building skills to climb the three highest peaks Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon. A team consists of 5 walkers and 2 support crew/drivers. Companies from around the city are already signed up including Accenture, Barclays, and Tate & Lyle making this event a fantastic networking opportunity as well as a great team-builder.

VSO's Brecons Challenge - VSO Brecon Challenge 2009, Saturday 3rd October
This challenge will take place the first weekend of October and is a one day event which requires you to work as a team to complete three distinct events - cycling, walking and paddling in under 12 hours in the beautiful surroundings of the Brecon Beacons. A team consists of 4 challengers and 1 support/driver.   Other teams keen to take part include Accenture, Fairfax Classical and Parkeray.
