Tucked away in the quiet leafy cul-de-sac of Stratford Grove, Putney, mother and daughter team, Helen and Hannah Fickling, swing open the doors to their home to host their fifth annual three-day VINTAGE POP-UP weekend; in support of the Meningitis Research Foundation and the Hannah Katie King Fund.
ENTRY IS FREE and shoppers can expect to find original hand picked vintage pieces sourced from fairs and markets up and down the country.
“Together Hannah and I have accumulated an interesting collection of old, tactile, well-made and well-designed decorative objects for this year's POP-UP. Many of our items have been selected for their age, shape and patina, or simply, that they are unique and beautiful;“ explains Helen, “there’s something here for everyone!”
Amongst their loot, you’ll find an eclectic mix of homewares, old suitcases, containers, occasional furniture, vintage textile cushions, fashion accessories, costume jewellery, toys, industrial fixtures and fittings, lighting, mid-century art glass and numerous oddities and trinkets, which make this POP-UP stand out from the rest!
Out in their garden, the duo will be setting up their very popular vintage tearoom serving fresh teas and coffees and delicious homemade bakes throughout the weekend.
Take a stroll down to the garden shed where there’s more to uncover and rummage through. Here, you’ll find lovely old garden tools, French café tables and chairs, Victorian terracotta pots, plants and much, much more!
