The Exchange Shopping Centre seeks raffle prizes for tommy's

The management of the Exchange shopping centre are looking to local businesses to help tommy's - the baby charity with donations of prizes for the raffle in this years Christmas Ball.

Who are tommy's?

Established in 1992 Tommy's was launched at St Thomas' Hospital by two Consultant Obstetricians and a mother who had a single goal: they wanted to make pregnancy & childbirth safer for both the mother and her baby.

Tommy's is determined to end the heartache caused by premature birth, miscarriage and stillbirth. We fund a national programme of research, education and information aimed at understanding and preventing these tragedies One in five pregnancies ends in miscarriage Over 100,000 women lose their babies each year and the cause is often unknown. This high rate has remained the same since the 1930s. One in 200 babies is stillborn Although this rate is falling there is still no clear medical reason given for over half of all stillbirths. 100 babies are born too small or too soon in the UK each day One in ten of these babies will die or develop serious permanent disabilities. Four out of five babies who die do so because they are born too small.
