The Tideway Tunnel & Putney

Your opportunity to ask Tideway how it will impact on Putney

Did you know that Putney is one of the sites for the Thames Tunnel construction work? Do you know about the disruption to come? The work that will be ongoing? How will it affect your daily life? Will it make the traffic worse? How will they be disposing of the rubble?

The Thames Tideway Tunnel (TTT) is one of the most ambitious pieces of construction in London this decade, rivalling Crossrail, yet it’s attracted far less attention. This month it comes to Putney. One of the working sites will be around Putney Pier, causing disruption on the Embankment for some years to come.

Also coming to Putney are a team from TTT who will explain what is happening here, and why and, we hope, answer your questions on this major piece of work for which we are paying, and from which we will benefit.

The meeting is on Monday 28 November, 7.30pm, The Community Church, Werter Road, SW15 2LL (opposite Sainsbury’s).

All welcome.
Free to members of the Putney Society.
£3 to non members.
Disabled access.
