A public meeting about the River Thames
Entitled ‘Your tidal Thames - today and tomorrow', the meeting will be chaired by Port of London Authority (PLA) chief executive, Richard Everitt with PLA chief harbour master, David Phillips. It takes place on Tuesday 11th February at 6.30pm at London Rowing Club on Putney Embankment.
They will begin with a brief presentation on current and future matters about the tidal Thames. The floor will then be open to questions and discussion.
The meeting is likely to be mostly of interest to those interested in matters on the tidal Thames in the west London area – eg between Fulham / Wandsworth and Teddington. Key issues include recreational use of the River; safety matters; and use of the Thames for passengers, leisure and cargo.
The meeting is free and open to anyone interested in current and future issues relating to the tidal Thames.
