Private Lives by Noël Coward

Noël Coward’s modern classic; a rom-com...with a twist. This is not a tale of a couple falling in love and nearly splitting up … it’s about how a couple fall in love five years after they got divorced! But not before they tease, torment and torture each other, as only soulmates can. They are, though, already married to other people … and on honeymoon with their new spouses.

A double bill of one-act plays aiming to get your vote in the laughter stakes

Numbers by Kieron Barry
Set in an all-girls' private school, Numbers depicts a battle of wills between four Upper Sixth girls in the hour before the new Head Girl is announced. As two of them cross swords for the much-coveted position, bullying, bitching and betrayal overtake their circle of friends. Is friendship all it's cracked up to be, when you pit it against the promise of power?

Party by Tom Basden
Enough is enough. It’s time for a new generation to step up and lead the country. But what if you can’t pick a Party? Easy. Make one of your own and invite everyone to join you in the Situation Room / Summerhouse. Including Duncan who doesn't care much for politics, but who’s Dad owns a printshop - good for marketing. Tom Basden’s hilarious, good-natured comedy tackles all the big questions, such as: is lemon drizzle cake appropriate for a war room? And, most importantly of all, are you For or Against China?

Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen adapted by Simon Reade
‘A lady’s imagination is very rapid; it jumps from admiration to love, from love to matrimony in a moment.’

The Bennet sisters are caught up in a whirlwind of romantic possibilities; while Elizabeth takes an instant dislike to the arrogant and conceited Mr Darcy, her sister Jane falls for his friend Bingley, leading to heartache and disappointment. First seen at Regents Park Open Air Theatre in 2013, this sparkling adaptation of Jane Austen’s Pride and Prejudice brilliantly brings to life the gossip, the scandal, the errors in judgement, and the romance that has enthralled generations of readers; recreating on stage all the joy and charm of this much-loved novel.
