At the Putney Society Meeting on 26th February
Every year 9 million journeys begin or end at Putney station making it one of the busiest stations in the London area outside the main termini.
The Putney Society is hosting a meeting Monday 26th February at 7.30pm at the Community Church (opposite Sainsburys) in Werter Road
with guest speakers from SWR and the Council.
The discussion will cover the quality of Putney’s railway service and the two speakers are the stakeholder manager from South Western Railways and local Councillor, Rosemary Torrington.
South Western Railways took over the franchise serving Putney last year and the SWR speaker will set out their plans for our railway which include new trains and a more frequent service plus an update on the works at Waterloo. He will also answer questions.
Rosemary Torrington will be speaking in her capacity as Chair of the Passenger Transport Liaison Group at Wandsworth Council.
All are welcome
