Wildlife Crime

A presentation to the Putney Society members & public

Stuart Paton, Wandsworth Police Wildlife Crime Officer, will give a presentation on wildlife crime.

In Britain, the responsibility for enforcement of the laws protecting wildlife rests with the police service. Wildlife crime covers the many different offences committed against wildlife in this country every year.

Stuart Paton’s primary role in relation to wildlife crime is investigation, but he also educates local people about wildlife crime - what it is, how they may come into contact with it, and how they may even commit offences inadvertently!

The meeting on
Thursday 27th October @ 7.30 pm at St Mary’s Church, Putney Bridge is open to all Society members and friends
