Putney Library's Calendar of Events for August
Refurbishment work finished with delivery of furniture awaited

The building work is almost finished and currently the arrival of the furniture is awaited. Once it does, the children’s library will reopen along with a new study space and foyer on the ground floor.
The new drop box for returned books outside opening hours is due mid-August. Meanwhile the nearest drop boxes are at Roehampton, Battersea or Southfields.
The Library staff says, “Thank you so much for your patience during the works, It will all be worth it when it is finished—which we hope will be soon!”
Events for August
FILM CLUB: GOING IN STYLE
Monday 14 August at 5.30pm
Willie, Joe and Al are down on their luck. The company they have worked for their entire lives has been sold to a foreign corporation, and their pension payments are pitiful. The desperate trio decide to rob the very bank where their money is held.
DIGITAL HELP SESSIONS
Thanks to the support of volunteers, digital help sessions will be offered
Sundays 6 and 13 August 1-3 pm.
This is in addition to help sessions Mondays from 11-1pm.

Age UK Wandsworth will also be offering a digital drop-in session on Wednesday 30 August 1-2.30pm. Booking is NOT required for this session.
