What's On At Putney Library?

The Summer Reading Challenge is here again!


The theme this year is Space, but children can read whatever they like - fiction, fact books, poetry, joke books, picture books, audio books - just as long as they are borrowed from the library.

Children receive special rewards each time they finish a book and there's a certificate for everyone who completes the Challenge.

Paul is a QC with forty years’ experience in the Criminal Courts. He writes short stories which reflect his unique take on modern life, and has published a series of thrillers beginning with the The Kazak Contract’- an exciting trip into the murky world of Kazakhstan crime.

His talk focuses on the pros & cons of self-publishing, and his exciting series of crime novels.

Artist and trauma therapist Lee Simmons will be displaying a selection of landscape paintings, prints and artist's books.
She will be developing new work during the course of the show, as part of a long-standing project with libraries.
