Putney Town racked up eight goals against newly promoted Feltham Wanderers whose chances suffered a major blow when their goalkeeper was sent off early in the game for punching Putney's striker. 

Following Rostron's opener after only a minute, Putney squandered numerous chances to leave it 1-0 at the interval. The second half was a different story as Bedford scored a hatrick, Rostron added another, Man of the match Shammy McQueen grabbed a brace and Mark Wallace netted. Final score 8-0.
