Round The Ragged Rocks For Putney Recruiter

As GMR team race round the Isle Of Wight for Halow

Putney's GM Recruitment once again took part in the world’s largest sailing event on Saturday 30th June, the JP Morgan Round the Island Race 2012.

This year GM Recruitment and their crew of clients were competing as a charity entry racing to raise funds and awareness for Halow. GM Recruitment has been supporting Halow throughout 2012 and has already raised an impressive £45,000 through their organisation of a 2 day, 250mile European cycle challenge.

Halow is a fantastic charity dedicated to creating opportunities and supporting young people with a learning disability so that they are able to live independent, meaningful, fulfilled lives and become integrated into their local community.

George Willis, director of GM Recruitment commented:
“For the 9th year running GM Recruitment have given clients the opportunity to sail the largest race of its kind in the world, and help raise money and awareness for Halow at the same time.”

He then goes on to say:
“The weekend was a roaring success and our clients from the construction sector who crewed the boat had an unforgettable experience”
