Jung Yeon Lee in strong position at Sunningdale
Jung Yeon Lee has powered into second place in the women's British Open in a display that has put her three shots of the lead.
The South Korea golf star spent her early years in Putney and was already familiar with the Sunningdale course as her father used to play there. She played a sparkling 5 under par round on the first day including a eagle and a birdie on the first two holes. She leads pre-tournament favourite Anneka Sorenstam as the tournament reaches its conclusion. British woman Karen Stupples is currently at the head of the leader board.
Sorenstam was in a group of five players at 4 under.
