The Sound of Music at St. Margaret’s Church Hall
There will be a chance to learn songs from the Sound of Music in a fun and friendly environment, joined by members of The Dover House Singers and led by Musical Director Carl Speck on Thursday 23 March. The event takes place from 7.30-9.30pm at St. Margaret’s Church Hall Putney Park Lane Putney, SW15 5HU.
No singing experience is required and there is no need to read music. The evening is perfect for those new to singing in a choir. You can sing in a social environment with a glass of wine absolutely free!
The Doverhouse Singers are a community choir in Putney, south west London. All are welcome to join us for a sing-song. There are no auditions and you don’t have to read music. They rehearse once a week at St. Margaret’s Church on Putney Park Lane and perform a couple of relaxed concerts each year.
They are led by conductor, Carl Speck, he teaches at a nearby school and takes you through a varied range of songs and pieces. From pop songs to spirituals and plenty more inbetween.
They support Regenerate RISE a charity whose mission is to reach the isolated elderly.
